Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a martial art based on grappling and ground fighting. In these classes you will be shown the fundamentals of Jiu Jitsu as well as more advanced moves, such as takedowns, sweeps and submissions. You will learn how to manoeuvre your opponent to improve your position on the mats. These techniques can also aid in a self defence scenario. All of our classes are suitable for all levels of fitness and experience.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (NO GI) is similar to the BJJ class but without the GI uniform, instead we wear a rashguard with shorts or leggings (spats). In this class we utilise different holds and grips to control our training partner.
